BUNIA, BeritaAktual.co – The Commander of INDO RDB 39-F Monusco, Kolonel Inf Imir Faishal, S.Sos., M.I.Pol., officially inaugurated the use of the Armour Ural Cargo on Monday, 1 September 2025. This vehicle is a modification of the Ural Cargo Truck into an Armour Cargo Truck, initiated and developed by Major Inf M Deri Saputra, Commander of the Support Company of Indo RDB 39-F Monusco.
The modification was carried out as an innovative step to enhance the protection of logistic vehicles in supporting troop movements within the area of operations. With the addition of armoured plating and reinforced construction, the Armour Ural Cargo provides extra protection against potential threats in conflict-prone routes.
During the inauguration, the Commander of the Task Force expressed his appreciation for the creativity and dedication of his soldiers who succeeded in delivering a practical yet strategic solution to operational needs. The presence of the Armour Ural Cargo is expected to improve mission effectiveness and the safety of Garuda peacekeepers in carrying out their mandate to maintain peace in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
